Designing an Integrated Wellness Ecosystem
Predictive. Connected. Designed to guide everyday health decisions.
The Challenge: Health in Pieces
Most people don’t experience their health in silos, but their apps do.
A leading healthcare company approached us with a pivotal question:
“How can we turn fragmented health interactions into one connected, predictive, proactive wellness experience?”
This became the foundation for rethinking the entire consumer journey in a series of Lean UX Workshops to gain a shared understanding amongst key stakeholders:

Predictive health. Medication confidence. Everyday wellness. One ecosystem.

Insight: Designing What Users Actually Need
User interviews, diary studies, and competitor analysis revealed clear themes:
-
Users wanted meaning, not more metrics
-
Medications had to feel safe, simple, contextual
-
Wearables played a huge role in daily habit loops
-
A connected ecosystem mattered more than any single feature
These insights became the blueprint for the suite.

The Solution: A Three-App Wellness Suite
We designed a multi-app, multi-device ecosystem including:

1. Predictive Health App - AI-powered forecasts, unified health score, insights, and trend graphs.

2. Medication Manager - Refill flows, adherence streaks, reminder intelligence, safety indicators.
3. Daily Wellness App - Micro-actions, step tracking, sleep improvement, and gentle nudges.

4. Wearable Companion (Apple Watch) - Quick medication confirmations, haptic cues, and micro-routines.
5. All connected by a shared design system, consistent interaction patterns, and seamless Apple Health integrations.

How We Built It: Rapid Prototyping → Testing → Refinement
We moved from concept to validation in weekly design sprints:
-
Figma prototypes tested on-device
-
Apple Watch simulator flows
-
Motion studies for insights + predictive rings
-
Accessibility optimization
-
Cross-app interaction patterns validated through user tasks
-
Behavioral nudges tuned for emotional tone + timing

We didn’t design apps... we designed a system.
One set of patterns. One data model. One continuous experience.
